Analyzes and consolidates best teaching practices **Job Description** ------------------------- Identify, consolidate, and deliver the annual technical training plan at cement plants based on the annual training plan and Integrated Management System, with the objective of ensuring the development of technical and human knowledge among various operational audiences and fostering an environment of harmony and safety. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Understand and comply with the Integrated Management System Policy, as well as meet CEMEX’s objectives regarding Quality, Environment, and Safety & Health. * Promote CEMEX’s Mission, Vision, and Values and engage personnel by example. * Ensure training for unionized personnel, facilitating access to information and training, and certifying such training. * Ensure the physical integrity of both personnel (indirect) under one’s supervision and of facilities, while respectfully using the environment and neighboring communities. * Establish a standardized operational training program (aligned with the Integrated Management System) to develop operational talent across Business Units, enabling improvements in processes, services, and products. * Analyze and consolidate best practices and teaching processes to establish a homogeneous work plan aligned with cement operations. * Identify learning needs of various plant audiences to define and enrich the curriculum to be delivered under the annual training plan. * Study, develop, and deliver academic content (technical and human) on-site, leveraging internal and external expertise to improve personnel’s technical capabilities and human development. * Ensure continuous improvement of the learning process to establish uniform metrics and standards for evaluating and certifying knowledge levels. * Comply with established Safety Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Specific Task Descriptions for each activity described in the Job Profile and any other assigned tasks. This includes: reporting all incidents and near-misses; stopping and warning personnel who place themselves at risk during an activity; participating in training events (toolbox talks, trainings, campaigns, etc.); managing the elimination of risk conditions in one’s area. * Responsible for verifying that personnel (direct and indirect) under one’s supervision work under appropriate safety and health conditions and ensuring they have the proper tools to perform their activities safely. Responsible for conducting risk analyses of activities performed by personnel (direct and indirect) under one’s supervision. **Job Challenges** -------------------- * Ensure timely and proper implementation of training initiatives. * Anticipate specific and general needs. * Develop succession plans for technical personnel. * Ensure compliance with the compliance matrix to meet requirements of the Integrated Management System. **Required Skills and Knowledge** ------------------------------------------ Education * Completed university degree in any engineering discipline Required Experience: * Functional Area: Production or Maintenance * Specific Area: Industrial Processes * 1 year Required Knowledge: * Ability to convey experiences and concepts related to topics using clear and precise language. * Interpersonal skills enabling establishment of connections and networks with those one interacts with. * Problem analysis and resolution. * Leadership and integrity. * Customer service and time management. * Theoretical\-practical cement manufacturing process. Critical Competencies: * Intermediate Excel proficiency (databases, data analysis, etc.) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, etc.) * Development of study manuals. **Relationships** -------------- Internal: * Plant Director, Process Manager, Maintenance Manager, Production Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, unionized personnel, Continuous Improvement Coordinator, HR Advisor.
