Collaborate with customs brokers and freight carriers **General Description:** A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Foreign Trade Assistant to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking import and export operations, ensuring compliance with current regulations, especially under the IMMEX program. **Main Responsibilities:** Ø Coordinate and track import and export processes. Ø Prepare and review customs documentation (invoices, customs declarations, certificates, etc.). Ø Quote international freight rates to meet the company’s requirements. Ø Maintain control and update foreign trade files. Ø Review tariff classifications. Ø Track operations under the IMMEX program. Ø Collaborate with customs brokers, freight carriers, and suppliers. **Requirements:** Ø Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. Ø Minimum 1–2 years of experience in foreign trade. Ø Knowledge of the IMMEX program (mandatory). Ø Proficiency in customs documentation and logistics processes. Ø Basic knowledge of Mexican customs legislation. Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).
