Job Description: Counter Sales Associate in Pharmacy The Pharmacy Counter Assistant is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service and performing medication sales and dispensing in compliance with established procedures and current health regulations. Additionally, they assist in inventory control, merchandise arrangement, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area, contributing to the pharmacy’s smooth operation. Functions and Responsibilities * Provide personalized customer service and basic guidance on pharmaceutical and personal care products. * Dispense medications and products according to medical prescriptions and customer requests. * Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle cash and bank terminals. * Receive, inspect, and arrange merchandise per internal procedures. * Verify expiration dates and optimal storage conditions for medications. * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area. * Support physical inventory counts and stock control. * Comply with hygiene, safety, and customer service standards. Position Profile * Minimum education: Completed secondary school or high school diploma. * Prior experience in customer service or sales (preferably in a pharmacy setting). * Basic knowledge of medications and pharmaceutical products. * Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills. * Flexible availability for work schedule.
