Position Summary:
This role aligns local operations with centralized departments, ensuring editorial, commercial, and operational continuity across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manages editorial, commercial, and operational continuity across locations
2. Coordinates with various centralized departments and manages teams
3. Administers office operations and monitors commercial accounts
**Purpose of the Position:**
To serve as the management focal point in Tabasco, aligning local operations with centralized departments and ensuring editorial, commercial, and operational continuity across assigned locations.
**Responsibilities:**
Liaison with Centralized Departments
* Coordinate with the Cancún location on editing and design matters pertaining to Chiapas.
* Coordinate with the Mérida location on editing and design matters pertaining to Tabasco.
* Serve as the primary contact with Administration and HR for personnel management and operational matters.
Team Management
* Direct supervision of: Distribution Manager and Reporter.
* Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding printing-related management and matters.
* Liaise with the Mérida Location Director on commercial matters.
Office Management
* Administer daily office operations.
* Expense control and coordination with local suppliers.
Commercial and Client Management
* Monitor local accounts and clients.
* Commercial prospecting and renewals.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
* 7+ years of experience in coordination, editorial, or commercial roles.
* Generalist profile with ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Willingness to travel within the region.
