Investigate hazardous situations and propose workplace improvements. **Engineering and construction services company seeking to integrate into its workforce:** ***Safety Supervisor*** **Job Objective:** Ensure good practices in industrial safety, health, and environmental protection during the execution of assigned activities. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Supervise proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Verify safety measures prior to commencement of work shifts * Report Unsafe Conditions and Unsafe Acts in the work area * Verify order and cleanliness in the work area * Propose workplace improvements * Delimit work areas * Assign safety devices and PPE according to identified risks and hazards in work areas * Conduct effective audits * Monitor implementation of Safety, Health, and Environmental programs * Submit daily safety reports * Conduct scheduled and unscheduled safety inspections * Verify and supervise work permits involving risk * Investigate potentially hazardous situations reported by personnel * Document all photographic evidence related to operational safety and health activities * Maintain records and reports of inspections, assessments, training sessions, accidents, and preventive measures to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards and regulations. * Conduct safety inspections of machinery, equipment, tools, and safety devices. * Deliver daily safety and health inductions to workers and newly hired personnel. **Education:** Industrial Engineering or related field. **Work Experience:** Minimum 3 years in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in critical operations such as lifting and rigging, electrical work (LOTO system), and work at height. Must possess extensive knowledge of PEMEX’s SSPA Annex requirements and applicable Mexican occupational safety and health standards and regulations. **Mandatory Requirement:** Valid SSPA Annex courses (Diploma and DC-3) Employment Type: Full-time, Project-based or Fixed-term Salary: $18,000.00 - $22,000.00 per month Experience: * SSPA Annex: 3 years (Mandatory) * Oil & Gas Sector (Exploration and Production): 3 years (Mandatory) License/Certification: * 27 valid SSPA Annex courses (Mandatory) * Seaman’s Book (Desirable) Willingness to Travel: * 100% (Desirable) Work Location: On-site employment
