**Description** **SURVEY OBJECTIVES** **GENERAL OBJECTIVE** The main objective of the survey is to obtain information about the level of satisfaction and implementation of social protection measures among users of Médicos del Mundo services in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico. **SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES FOR THE SURVEYOR** Carry out primary data collection (surveys) among the population using Médicos del Mundo services in Tapachula. **SCOPE AND FOCUS OF THE CONSULTANCY** The consultancy aims to answer the following questions: What is the level of satisfaction among service users with the services provided by Médicos del Mundo? What aspects of the services provided by MdM can be improved? **METHODOLOGY AND ACTIVITIES** To achieve the objectives, fieldwork will be conducted to carry out surveys, always respecting safety measures, Médicos del Mundo's (MdM) internal regulations, MdM policies, confidentiality, and the rights of MdM service users. The methodology and questionnaire provided by MdM will be used. Activities to be carried out by surveyors: Participation in training sessions for survey administration and review of materials provided by Médicos del Mundo (methodology, application guides). Primary data collection: Administering surveys to individuals who meet the inclusion criteria defined in the methodology \[Data collection activity]. Submission of collected data using the digital tools provided by MdM. Participation of the consultant responsible for the consultancy in follow-up and coordination meetings with MdM at both local and medical coordination levels. After contract signing, an initial meeting will be held to define the frequency of follow-up meetings. This list is not exhaustive. **DELIVERABLES** Surveyors will conduct data collection (surveys) on dates, times, and locations previously established and agreed upon with the Tapachula Field Coordinator. At the end of each workday, surveyors must submit the collected data through the digital tool specified by MdM, for which they will have received prior training from MdM. Payments will be made once data has been validated by MdM's Medical Coordination. It is estimated that surveyors will dedicate 24 non-consecutive hours per month to survey collection, which takes place during mobile health brigade outings between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This number of hours is approximate and may vary depending on the number of activities carried out by MdM and other factors. The number of monthly surveys will be specified by MdM at the beginning of the contract. **RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SURVEYOR** * Conduct surveys with MdM service users on at least two different days per month and submit data as specified in these terms of reference, meeting required quality standards, within established timelines, according to the described and approved plan, with possible extensions and/or additions aimed at improving quality. Participate in training and preparation sessions prior to data collection. Must be available to connect remotely or attend in person at MdM’s offices in Tapachula for training sessions. MdM will inform the date and time of trainings in advance. Organize spaces and dates for data collection or any additional information required. For in-person activities, the surveyor must coordinate details with the Tapachula Field Coordinator to ensure all necessary precautions are taken for both the surveyor and individuals they interact with under this contract. Maintain continuous and fluid communication with Medical Coordination and the Tapachula Field Coordinator for effective execution and development of surveys, providing requested information within the scope of these terms of reference. Participate in periodic meetings with Medical Coordination and the Field Coordinator to review progress toward achieving the objectives outlined in these terms of reference. * Submit the data specified in these terms of reference according to established guidelines. MdM will provide: Round-trip transportation to the location where surveys must be collected. Surveyors should not travel to collection sites using their own means. Necessary information for conducting the surveys. Training for data collection and use of digital tools. Data collection instruments and methodologies. SUPERVISION AND COORDINATION Supervision and coordination of the surveyor will be carried out by Medical Coordination and the Tapachula Field Coordinator. Final validation of the data will be performed by the Medical Coordinator of the MdM mission in Mexico. Supervisor responsibilities include: Monitoring the surveyor's work plan. Providing technical guidance to ensure high-quality survey implementation and supporting the surveyor in resolving questions. Maintaining ongoing communication with the surveyor regarding technical/logistical matters and promptly conveying observations (if any). Ensuring review, validation, or feedback on collected data. Medical Coordination will provide the consultant with necessary institutional documents for survey implementation, either physically or digitally. Organizing periodic meetings with the surveyor to assess progress toward the objectives outlined in these terms of reference. **Profile/Requirements** Academic Background High school diploma; undergraduate students, interns, or thesis candidates, or postgraduate students. Experience Previous experience in survey administration (e.g., INEGI, public sector, civil society organizations) and field research will be valued positively.
