**Description** POSITION PURPOSE The selected candidate will provide support throughout the treatment and recovery process for people in transit, refugees, asylum seekers, those with complementary protection, and stateless individuals, particularly children and adolescents, with the aim of ensuring access to healthcare as a guarantee of human rights for people in migration contexts. They will work in an interdisciplinary manner with the doctor, psychologist, and social worker to provide comprehensive care as needed. REQUESTED SERVICES * Will assist the doctor in providing medical care (taking vital signs, monitoring patient progress, wound care, conducting tests, bandaging, etc.). * Will aim to enable patients to be autonomous in carrying out their daily self-care activities. * Must provide necessary care to users when required during times when their family member or usual caregiver is absent, while teaching them how to perform each task in a simple and efficient way. * Will communicate empathetically about the medical process being followed, seeking to raise awareness about the importance of adhering to established recommendations. * Will be responsible for completing daily logs/records to monitor medical services provided, as well as maintaining patient files, including clinical notes and assessments performed by the doctor. * Will carry out health prevention and promotion activities, educating shelter staff and service users on good habits, healthy lifestyles, hygiene, and Covid-19 prevention. * Will ensure respectful treatment for all individuals accessing medical services and for all shelter staff, helping prevent conflicts. * Will demonstrate sensitivity toward human migration, providing empathetic care with equity and respecting the confidentiality of each case. * Will identify situations that may pose risks to child safeguarding. * Will contribute to data collection and other tasks required by the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
