Flexible work environment ### **About the Role** We are seeking a highly skilled **AS/400 (IBM iSeries) Developer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and supporting applications on the AS/400 platform, including RPG, CL, and DB2\. This role involves working closely with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality technical solutions that support business processes. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the **AS/400 (IBM iSeries)** platform. * Write and debug programs using **RPG (RPGLE, RPG Free), CL, SQL, and DB2/400**. * Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. * Maintain and enhance existing AS/400 applications and workflows. * Collaborate with business users and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. * Perform system integrations, data migrations, and performance tuning. * Ensure coding standards, documentation, and best practices are followed. * Provide on\-call support when required. ### **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). * **3\+ years** of hands\-on experience with AS/400 development. * Strong expertise with **RPG, RPG ILE, RPG Free**, and **CL programming**. * Proficiency in **DB2/400, SQL, and file structures** on the AS/400 platform. * Experience with change management tools (e.g., Turnover, Aldon, or similar). * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication skills in English. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with **API integrations**, Web Services, or modernization of AS/400 systems. * Knowledge of **EDI**, batch processing, or financial modules. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies. * Experience supporting production environments. ### **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits. * Opportunity to work with experienced technical teams. * Professional development and career growth opportunities. * Flexible work environment.
