Position Summary: Chunil Mexico is seeking a Metrology Engineer with experience in the automotive sector to apply knowledge of GD&T, Core Tools, and laboratory equipment operation. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and calibration of measurement instruments such as Hexagon CMM Chunil Mexico requires: ***METROLOGY ENGINEER*** Education: Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metrology Engineering, or related field Experience: Minimum 2 years in the automotive sector Competencies: * Proficiency in laboratory equipment * In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles * Advanced drawing interpretation * Knowledge and application of Core Tools (SPC, MSA) * Programming in CMM PC-DMIS software * Handling, calibration, and maintenance of measurement instruments such as Hexagon CMM, vernier calipers, micrometers, go-no-go gauges, optical comparators, surface roughness testers, and related equipment for laboratory reliability testing * R&R studies * Knowledge of Problem Analysis and Resolution (8D, Ishikawa diagram, 5W) * International standards for quality management systems (IATF 16949) * Knowledge of plastic injection processes (preferred) * English * Willingness to travel (valid driver’s license required) * Willingness to work rotating shifts Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $22,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month Benefits: * Major medical expense insurance * Free uniforms * Food vouchers Application Question(s): * What is your salary expectation?
