Apply here to start an extraordinary career today.** We are looking for a person to fill the role of **Dynamic Mechanical Team Leader** to join our team at AES MÉXICO. The main responsibility is the maintenance of all mechanical assets involved in the electrical power generation process across both businesses, excluding maintenance of operational \& administrative buildings. Manage maintenance following industry best practices, AES asset management standards, and interact with other departments such as Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Materials Handling, HR, reliability, performance, safety \& document control, among others. **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for preventive, predictive \& corrective maintenance of Power block equipment, all materials handling areas, and across various disciplines such as Mechanical, complying with the Work Management process (feedback, time logging, closing work orders, etc). * Uphold company values and code of conduct, and ensure compliance within the work team. * Coordinate routine activities to follow ISO standards in quality, environmental, safety \& asset management; manage compliance with local regulations applicable to the business and AES standards, including participation in internal and external audits and implementing necessary action plans for any findings. * Communicate to the work team all general topics of interest that help personnel efficiently perform assigned tasks, including information on business objectives, KPIs, work plans, maintenance plans, environmental and safety aspects, human factor requirements, regional initiatives, among others. * Collaborate so that decisions related to maintenance of assets under responsibility align with strategic business objectives, and communicate them to subordinates. * Manage and participate in root cause analyses of problems related to specific assets under responsibility, identifying Non Force Errors, developing mitigation plans, communicating them to the work team, and documenting improvement opportunities within the integrated management system. * Responsible for coordinating the development, review, and structuring of maintenance plans, working with planning \& performance departments to finalize configurations in AES maintenance management software such as (SAP, APM, C55, among others). * Coordinate the preparation, review, and issuance of maintenance reports required by various internal and external clients such as O\&M, planning, procurement, Fixed Assets, accounting, FP\&A, among others. * Responsible for measuring department performance through KPIs monitoring maintenance execution and planning across all disciplines, and communicating these to the work team. * Manage process analysis to identify improvement opportunities aimed at achieving maximum maintenance effectiveness and maximum asset efficiency using tools already implemented by AES such as ETAPRO, PREDICTOR, APM, Click sense, among others. * Participate in activities and/or initiatives required by the business, contributing ideas or opinions that support the pursued objectives. * Understand contractual aspects related to plant operation and maintenance. * Promote the development of improvement projects within the department not only focused on maintenance topics but also addressing any identified business gaps resulting in better performance. * Promote teamwork and continuous interaction among different departments to achieve maximum engagement, fostering GPTW through frequent team meetings and follow-up on human factor-related topics. * Manage training and development plans for direct reports based on updating each individual's DNC, considering the current regional 70/20/10 training model. * The activities described above are illustrative but not exhaustive, and the employee must carry out all related and ancillary tasks inherent to the nature of the position, agreeing to perform them efficiently. **Requirements:** * Education: Professional degree required with specialization in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. * Experience: At least 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of rotating equipment such as high-pressure water pumps, boiler fans, speed reducers, high-pressure valves, conveyor belts, coolers, motors up to 4,000 HP, mechanical equipment in cooling towers, air compressors, steam turbines. * Knowledge of Chemistry, Mechanics, and computer applications. * Broad knowledge of all maintenance disciplines. * Proficient in managing contracts for supplies, products \& services. * Basic knowledge of Power Plant operations. * Basic understanding of thermal efficiency in power plants. * Basic knowledge of the Collective Labor Agreement. * Proficiency in software such as Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Word, etc. * Technical-level English, at least reading \& writing. * Basic knowledge of Mexican environmental regulations applicable to power generation plants. **Skills:** * Knows how to align department activities with business objectives. * Positively promotes change within the unit and company. * Communicates proactively. * Builds and works with multidisciplinary teams. * Seeks continuous learning. * Demonstrates analytical and decision-making skills. * Willing to adopt new procedures and act as a multiplier in their application and use. **We are the energy that improves the lives of more than 10 million people, through the many benefits electricity provides.**
