**Purpose** Ensure the reliability and availability of electrical equipment and instrumentation across surface facilities of the mining unit’s areas; plan, direct, and control maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance programs established in the SAP system, to achieve objectives related to Safety, Production, Quality, Cost, and Environmental Control. **Key Responsibilities** * Comply with and enforce Orbia’s safety procedures and regulations. * Coordinate the execution of preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment and instrumentation within the surface mining unit to ensure facility reliability. * Coordinate with surface production areas regarding equipment and facility shutdowns, ensuring all electrical and instrumentation work is completed on time and to quality standards. * Analyze new alternatives for equipment, maintenance methods, and tools to optimize maintenance processes. * Analyze equipment failures to determine root causes, thereby generating short- and medium-term corrective actions, as well as improvement recommendations aimed at extending equipment service life. * Coordinate maintenance supervisors to carry out predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and instrumentation. * Review and propose optimal stock levels for critical materials and spare parts in the spare parts warehouse, based on specifications, quantity of similar equipment, and replacement experience. * Submit procurement requests for required materials, spare parts, equipment, and external contractors to fulfill maintenance programs and routines. * Monitor safety, hygiene, and sustainability programs. **Required Experience and Knowledge** * Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Three years of experience in a similar position. * Industrial electricity and instrumentation. * Knowledge of high- and low-voltage systems. * Instrumentation and control. * Electrical substations. * Electrical testing of power equipment. * Industrial maintenance management. * Personnel management. * Assertive communication.
