Position Summary: Provides operational support in store sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to ensure achievement of performance indicators and commercial goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support for operational activities on the sales floor 2. Customer service and sales closing 3. Merchandise arrangement management and planogram execution Provide operational support for in-store floor activities by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in trucks, following applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by clarifying inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and price, to deliver excellent service reflected in counter sales closures; also handle customer phone calls to clarify inquiries about specific products or orders. * Correctly execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales closing transactions. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse worker, cashier, or general assistant. * Prior customer service experience preferred.
