We are looking for top talent as an Import Coordinator. Job Objective Manage, coordinate, and monitor goods import processes, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations, delivery timelines, authorized costs, and accurate documentation, thereby supporting the company’s operational continuity. Job Requirements Education * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs, Administration, or related field (graduated or intern). Experience * Minimum 2–5 years in import and foreign trade processes. Technical Knowledge * Basic customs legislation. * Incoterms. * Import documentation. * Tariff classification (desirable). * Intermediate Excel skills. * Administrative systems or ERP (desirable). Functions and Responsibilities * Coordinate and monitor domestic and international imports. * Manage import documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.). * Direct communication with customs agents, suppliers, and carriers. * Verify compliance with non-tariff regulations and restrictions. * Monitor transit times and arrival dates. * Control and archive import files. * Validate import costs, freight charges, taxes, and customs expenses. * Support correct tariff classification of goods. * Report import status to involved departments. * Handle internal audits or reviews related to foreign trade. * Propose improvements to import and logistics processes. * Request and validate required documentation for imports. * Coordinate with suppliers and customs agents. * Halt processes when documentary or regulatory non-compliance occurs (after prior notification to immediate supervisor).
