Advising internal and external clients on foreign trade ***PRIDA CORPORATE SERVICES*** *is seeking* ***a Customs Tariff Classifier*** *in* ***Manzanillo, Colima.*** **Job Objective** Safeguard the customs license through accurate review and validation of customs entries, ensuring compliance with Annex 22 of the Customs Law, as well as with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (NTRRs). Guarantee correct determination of duties and taxes and proper application of identifiers and exceptions, avoiding omissions or errors affecting foreign trade operations. **Main Responsibilities** * Review and classify import and export customs entries timely and accurately. * Validate compliance with tariff and non-tariff regulations according to current legislation. * Calculate customs duties and taxes arising from foreign trade operations. * Review supporting documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, permits, resolutions, tariff preferences, etc.). * Validate correct application of entry identifiers and codes (temporary, definitive, among others). * Document Non-Conforming Discrepancies (NCDs) when discrepancies exist between documentation and applicable regulations. * Participate in pre-arrival merchandise review and support internal or external audits. * Maintain updated tariff classification database and applicable regulations. * Advise internal and external clients on tariff classification, regulations, and customs compliance. **Specific Activities** * Tariff classification of imported and exported goods pursuant to the General Import and Export Tax Law (LIGIE) and its complementary rules. * Determination and validation of applicable Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (NTRRs). * Application and compliance with the Customs Law, its Regulation, and the Federal Tax Code. * Review of safety, marketing, and labeling standards. * Verification of certificates of origin and resolutions issued by the Ministry of Economy. * Support in classification of import and export operations. **Required Knowledge** * Customs Law and Customs Law Regulation. * Annex 22, TIGIE / LIGIE, and complementary rules. * Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (NTRRs). * Calculation of taxes and duties related to foreign trade. * Tariff classification of goods. * Handling of tariff databases, VUCEM, and customs management systems. * Identification and correction of data entry errors in customs entries. **Essential Requirements:** * **Education:** Completed Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years as a Customs or Tariff Classifier. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Statutory benefits If interested, please send your CV to the following email addresses: * reclutamiento@prida.com.mx * becaria.rh@prida.com.mx Employment type: Full-time Salary: $18,000.00 – $22,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract * Grocery vouchers Application question(s): * Do you have experience as a customs agency branch manager?
