**Data Analyst** Role Objective: Responsible for designing and executing advanced SQL database queries for data extraction and analysis. Additionally, must be able to interpret business logic developed in PL/SQL on Oracle. The primary objective of the role is to generate reliable reports that facilitate decision-making, integrating information from multiple data sources. **Key Responsibilities** Queries and Reports: Design and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Optimize queries for high performance with large volumes of data. Generate dynamic reports using tools compatible with native SQL. Read and interpret existing PL/SQL code (triggers, functions, stored procedures). Document the business logic and rules contained in Oracle artifacts to translate or replicate them in PostgreSQL or reporting tools. Support data transformation tasks if required to adapt structures for report consumption. Collaborate with business teams to understand specific information needs. Document queries, data structures, and rules applied in report generation. **Key Requirements and Technical Skills** SQL (PostgreSQL and Oracle preferred): Functions, subqueries, CTEs, index usage. PL/SQL Reading (Oracle preferred): Interpretation of logic; writing is not required. SQL Reporting: Generation of complex reports; experience with BI tools is desirable. Data Modeling: Relational and dimensional; interpretation of structures and dependencies. Desirable: Experience in ETL generation using Python or similar language. Soft Skills: Technical Communication: to document and explain results to business users. Autonomy: capable of generating solutions without constant supervision. **Experience and Education** Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. **Experience: 3+ years working with SQL and generating complex SQL reports.** Desirable: prior experience in mixed Oracle-PostgreSQL environments or migrations.
