Construction Supervision: * Lead and oversee construction, repair, and maintenance activities for natural gas networks, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and current regulations. * Verify that materials and equipment used meet quality and safety standards. 2. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management: * Ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environment Program. * Implement safe work permits (confined spaces, excavations, welding). * Conduct daily inspections to identify risks and correct deviations. * Comply with established HSE guidelines through the following documents and programs: * R-GBU H&S Code of Conduct. * R-GBU Health and Safety Commitments. * R-GBU Minimum H&S Requirements per Person. * RENOVABLES-P&C-HSE-MA-01 Health, Safety, and Environment Manual 3. Quality Control: * Supervise critical processes (welding, coatings, boring, leak testing). * Document non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented. * Prepare progress reports and ensure traceability of work. 4. Personnel and Logistics Coordination: * Organize work crews (operators, welders, surveyors) and contractors. * Manage timely delivery of materials and machinery (welding equipment, backhoes, etc.). 5. Administrative Management: * Validate physical progress for estimates and invoicing. * Maintain daily records (site logs, productivity reports). * Monitor material balances. 6. Communication and Regulatory Compliance: * Coordinate with local authorities, clients, and communities (in case of urban projects). * Ensure compliance with permits and regulations (Gas Distribution Regulations, General and Specific Technical and Administrative Specifications, federal, state, and municipal guidelines and permits, decentralized agencies, other underground utility users). **Requirements:** To join our team as a Technical Supervisor, we are looking for: * **Education and Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Petrochemical Engineering or related field (licensed). 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles. * **Technical Skills:** **1. Pipeline Construction Knowledge:** * Proficiency in pipe laying techniques, welding (electrofusion, thermofusion, SMAW, GMAW/MIG), hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, and anti-corrosion coatings. * Experience in critical crossings (e.g.: rivers, highways, urban areas). **2. Technical and Legal Standards:** * In-depth understanding of applicable standards: * ASME B31.8 (design and construction of gas pipelines). * API 1104 (pipeline welding standards). * OSHA 29 CFR - Subpart 1926 (construction safety). * Local environmental regulations (e.g.: excavation impact). * NOM-031-STPS (Safety and Health Conditions in Construction). **3. Quality Management:** * Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and inspection procedures (e.g.: weld radiography). * Use of control tools (checklists, non-conformance reports). **4. Software Proficiency:** * AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar for design review. * Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for network routing. * Management tools (MS Project, Excel for scheduling and cost tracking). **5. Industrial Safety:** * Implementation of safe work permits (e.g.: confined spaces, working at heights, hot work, lifting, excavations, energy isolation). * Knowledge of HSE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001). * **Key Competencies:** 1.
