Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.**Job Responsibilities:** **Job Objective** Responsible for covering a production shift, capable of identifying and resolving any failure occurring in process and support equipment—such as compressors, water treatment systems, power outages, and forklifts—requesting support when necessary, and applying rapid solutions to minimize production downtime, while complying with safety regulations and working under pressure. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain process equipment operating at 100% during their shift. * Demonstrate problem-solving ability for issues arising during their shift. * Provide support to other internal customers during their shift. * Carry out scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. * Maintain adequate stock of equipment and support materials to enable prompt resolution of failures. * Exercise sound judgment to decide when equipment must be shut down due to failure. * Maintain tools in good condition and apply 5S principles in the maintenance workshop. **Education and Experience** * Technical degree in mechanical engineering, electricity, machinery and tools, refrigeration, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent. * 1 year of experience in similar or related maintenance roles. **Required Competencies** * Ability to interpret electrical and control diagrams. * Advanced knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and control systems. * Knowledge of electric and oxyacetylene welding. * Proficiency in using workshop tools. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
