Job Summary: Fabricate, adjust, repair, and maintain tools, fixtures, and mechanical components through precise operation of machine tools, ensuring quality and operational continuity. Key Highlights: 1. Expert operation of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. 2. Interpretation of mechanical drawings and assurance of dimensional accuracy. 3. Collaboration with engineering and production teams to develop technical solutions. **Job Objective** Fabricate, adjust, repair, and maintain tools, fixtures, and mechanical components through precise operation of machine\-tools, ensuring dimensional quality of parts, uninterrupted equipment operation, and compliance with plant technical and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Operate machine\-tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate and repair mechanical parts. * Interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, technical specifications, and dimensional requirements. * Measure and verify part accuracy using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. * Select appropriate materials (steels, alloys, industrial plastics, etc.) based on the required tool or component type. * Perform adjustments, modifications, and grinding operations according to production or maintenance needs. * Ensure proper use of cutting tools and select the appropriate type for each operation (drills, inserts, end mills, chisels, etc.). * Maintain machine\-tools in optimal condition through cleaning, lubrication, and routine inspections. * Comply with safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements during machinery operation. * Document work performed, progress, and completed parts to ensure traceability. * Collaborate with departments such as engineering, maintenance, and production to resolve technical issues or develop solutions. **Job Requirements Education** * Completed technical high school diploma (preferably in machine tools, industrial mechanics, maintenance, or related field). **Experience** * **Minimum 3 years of experience** operating machine\-tools in industrial environments or mechanical workshops. **Competencies** * Proficiency in lathe operation. * Proficiency in milling machine and surface grinder operation. * Ability to interpret and read mechanical drawings. * Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. * Knowledge of materials (steels, alloys, hardness properties). * Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications. * Ability to hold tight tolerances and achieve high-precision finishes. * Attention to detail and precision. * Responsibility and reliability. * Technical problem-solving ability. * Teamwork with operational and engineering departments. * Organization and discipline in handling tools and materials.
