Description

* Active student pursuing a degree in Industrial Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Basic English proficiency. * Basic knowledge of Mexican STPS regulations regarding safety, health, and environment. * Basic knowledge of chemical substance inventory updating and control. * Interest in industrial safety topics, risk analysis, and accident prevention. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). * Basic Canva skills for creating informational materials and internal communications. * Knowledge of logbook and recordkeeping control and updating within the department. * Organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills. * Strong communication skills, professional presentation, and punctuality. * Proactive, responsible attitude with willingness to learn. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 15:30 hrs, and willingness to work overtime when required. **Responsibilities:** * Monitoring and supporting daily activities of the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department. * Participating in plant safety walkthroughs to identify unsafe acts and conditions. * Supporting implementation of continuous improvement actions focused on safety and environmental protection. * Handling, controlling, and ensuring proper disposal of RP, RSU, and RME waste according to established guidelines. * Tracking and managing waste-related manifests, logbooks, and environmental documentation. * Updating and maintaining EHS records, forms, and performance indicators. * Assisting in the development of flyers, announcements, and visual materials for safety campaigns and awareness initiatives. * Participating in workplace prevention, housekeeping, and cleaning activities. * Supporting safety inductions for new employees and visitors. * Providing administrative and operational support for additional EHS department activities. ***Location: Plant 2, Av.
