Plan, lead, and coordinate all areas of the department to achieve continuous improvement in quality, productivity, safety, cleanliness, and employee relations. Must maintain a profitable operation at Plant 1, 2, 3, and McAllen. Requirements: * Proven experience of at least 5 years in materials or supply chain areas. * Performance rating in most recent evaluation must be Satisfactory or higher. * Education level: Completed degree – Logistics and Transportation Engineer, Supply Chain Management, LAE, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience. * Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) * Experience in leadership and managerial skills. * Knowledge of logistics processes: material administration / shipping/receiving. * Advanced knowledge in warehouse management. * Excellent demonstrable organizational and follow-up skills. * Knowledge of ground transportation (LTL, FTL) (Less Than Truckload **,** Full Truck Load). * Knowledge of IMMEX (Manufacturing, Maquiladora, and Export Services Industry). * Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented, strong oral and written communication abilities. * Materials management, including receiving, storage, safeguarding, and distribution to production lines in an efficient and effective manner. * Competent in problem solving, team building, teamwork, planning, control, and decision-making. * Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, Environmental Management guidelines, and regulatory requirements. * Experience with advanced Microsoft applications, dashboard creation, and SAP usage. * Knowledge of CTPAT Certification (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism). * Willingness and availability to travel when necessary. * Experience in supply chain processes. * Strategic and analytical thinking, attention to detail, assertive communication. * Ability to solve complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and competence in understanding the work. * Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately. * Excellent planning and organizational skills, proven leadership. * Open to continued learning and training. * Intermediate knowledge of international trade. * Expertise in inventory control. * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills, dexterity, and attention to detail. Responsibilities: * Demonstrate, maintain, and exercise leadership and commitment by directing and supporting employees and their activities related to the environmental management system. * Attend audits when required. * Promote continuous improvement. * Work collaboratively with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude to help achieve organizational goals. * Communicate the importance of effective environmental management in compliance with Environmental Management System requirements. * Support other relevant management roles to demonstrate leadership as applicable to their areas of responsibility. * Lead, optimize, and coordinate the entire order cycle. * Define and execute transportation strategies for internal (between RRD plants) and external (suppliers/customers) receiving and shipping processes at Plant 1, 2, 3, and McAllen. * Effectively coordinate with transportation providers in Mexico and the United States to define cost control and reduction strategies, and ensure efficient and effective transportation logistics...
