SUE TRANSPORTS IS SEEKING A TIRE CONTROLLER WE OFFER: WEEKLY PAY - LIFE INSURANCE - FOOD VOUCHERS - UNIFORMS - 30-DAY BONUS - SUBSIDIZED CAFETERIA - SAVINGS FUND WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8 AM TO 5 PM; SATURDAYS, 9 AM TO 12 PM JOB OBJECTIVE Maintain the fleet’s tires in optimal condition and maintain timely records to accurately determine the fleet’s actual tire requirements. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Measure and implement a traffic-light system for 100% of the fleet (tankers, gondolas, tractors, thorntons, dollies, etc.). 2. Submit a complete monthly traffic-light report (both physical and digital). 3. Adhere to the budget allocated for tire purchases. 4. Properly calibrate the air pressure of all fleet tires. 5. Maintain control over the scrap tire pile (suppliers, manifests, etc.). 6. Submit reports to management. 7. Identify and request necessary supplies and tools for the tire department.
