Design strategies to position the Dentistry program. **UVM is seeking a Dentistry Program Coordinator in Zapopan, Jalisco** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- **Dentistry Program Coordinator** **Objective: Implement strategies to meet the academic and administrative needs of applicants and students, promote optimal development, support achievement of the established professional profile, and ensure successful completion of the academic program** **Your key challenges** * **Ensure compliance with accreditations and updates of Academic Program Technical Opinions.** * **Participate in workshops and development of schedules for academic programs under your responsibility.** * **Teach courses aligned with your academic profile, meeting the established teaching hour standard.** * **Participate in student orientation and preparatory courses.** * **Identify causal factors of student attrition to define targeted student success programs, ensuring student re-enrollment and graduation.** * **Guarantee selection of teaching staff according to the established profile.** * **Promote dual-degree opportunities for students in the program.** * **Develop and implement strategies to position the Dentistry program against competitors.** * **Ensure student enrollment by providing necessary tools for their development and retention, applying psychopedagogical and mentoring strategies to support strong academic performance throughout their institutional lifecycle.** **Profile we seek** **Essential requirements:** * **Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, with a related specialization or Master’s degree in Education. (TITLE AND LICENSE REQUIRED).** * **Skills in: Mexican regulations related to training of Health Sciences professionals and health services; Office software \- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience using and knowledge of dental clinic equipment.** * **Experience in: 2–4 years in Academic Administration and Management, Program Coordinator, or Faculty roles.** * **Competencies in: teaching and educational administrative management focused on planning, organizing, and controlling institutional educational resources to ensure quality and efficiency of the educational process.** * **Availability: Monday to Friday, 09:00–19:00 (with 2-hour lunch break), and Saturdays d\*** * **We offer benefits exceeding statutory requirements.** **Desirable:** * **Experience with CENEVAL evaluation framework.** **Diversity and inclusion** **At UVM, talent has no limits.
