FINE HARDWARE FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS seeks a LATHE OPERATOR to join its team. **Job Objective** Operate conventional and TRAUB lathes to manufacture, repair, or adjust metal or other material components, meeting technical specifications, quality standards, and established production timelines. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Proficiency in using TRAUB lathes. * Select appropriate cutting tools. * Mount and center workpieces on the lathe. * Adjust spindle speeds and feed rates according to material type and job requirements. * Measure components using instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators to ensure compliance with specifications. * Lubricate, clean, and inspect the lathe to ensure proper operation and extend its service life. * Experience handling metals such as aluminum. **Knowledge Requirements** * Operation of conventional and/or CNC lathes. * Interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Measuring instruments. * Types of metallic materials. * Cutting tools. * Tolerances and fits. * Industrial safety. * Basic machinery maintenance. **Skills** * Precision and attention to detail. * Responsibility. * Orderliness and cleanliness. * Mechanical problem-solving. * Teamwork. * Quality focus. **We Offer** * Weekly take-home pay. * Statutory benefits. * Fixed working hours. * Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
