Requires strong problem-solving and communication skills Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and success of the accounts payable function in the accounting department. The key function of this position is to handle all functions of accounts payable processes. **Job Description:** * Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors * Monitor shared Accounts Payable email inbox * Review, enter and generate payment to invoices received by vendors * Review and reconcile vendor statements * Monthly AP Close – ensure all transactions are captured for month end close * Other duties as assigned **Profile:** * Requires an Associates degree or higher. * Requires some relevant accounting experience. * A combination of education, training and related experience may meet requirements. * Experience with the Microsoft Office suite. * Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new services. * Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision by employing effective time management and prioritization skills. * Highly effective verbal and written communication skills. * Extremely driven and has strong collections experience. * They need to be very comfortable calling on invoices via phone and email. * Extremely motivated to collect. **SHIFT:** FULL TIME, MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:00 AM TO 5:36 PM **SALARY AND BENEFITS:** $22,000 BASE GROSS MONTHLY SALARY $1000 MONTHLY FOOD STAMPS. 30 DAYS CHRISTMAS BONUS Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $22,000\.00 per month Education: * Associate (Required) Experience: * Accounting: 1 year (Required) Language: * Advanced english (Required) Work Location: In person
