Within **Pressure Pumping**, the **Cementing** team supports well operations by ensuring operational continuity, equipment integrity, and adherence to safety, quality, and service standards both at the plant and on-site. **Fuel your passion** As a **Cement Plant Assistant**, you will support the operational execution of cementing services through management of materials, equipment, logistics processes, and plant activities. This role is critical to ensuring that resources are available, properly prepared, and delivered on time and in full for operations—thereby meeting service agreements and Baker Hughes’ operational standards. **Key Responsibilities** * **Facilitate and execute operational transactions** related to service orders, service agreements, and internal requests, ensuring traceability and accuracy of information. * **Produce, assemble, prepare, and dispatch** equipment, replacement parts, and materials required for cementing, repair, or maintenance operations, in accordance with work orders and service agreements. * **Manage materials and inventory**, including receipt, storage, control, safeguarding, and dispatch of consumables, equipment, and spare parts. * **Coordinate logistics and shipping activities**, ensuring timely deliveries to site, equipment returns, and accurate transportation documentation. * **Support site and plant operations**, including equipment preparation, verification of operational conditions, and field activity support. * Operate within **plant, workshop, or warehouse environments**, ensuring order, cleanliness, and adherence to operational standards. * Work with **technical, operational, and support personnel** (skilled and unskilled labor), supporting daily execution of assigned activities. * Record and track material, equipment, and process movements in relevant systems. * Ensure all activities comply with Baker Hughes’ **operational procedures, HSE policies, and quality standards**. * Support internal audits, physical inventories, and process reviews as required. * Report operational deviations, equipment damage, or safety incidents through established channels. **Requirements for Success** * Technical or completed high school education (technical or industrial background preferred). * Prior experience in **plant operations, logistics, warehousing, site operations, or materials handling**, ideally in Oil & Gas or similar industries. * Basic knowledge of **logistics processes, inventory control, and equipment dispatch**. * Ability to follow operational procedures and work under strict safety standards. * Capability to coordinate multiple operational activities in an organized manner. * Availability to work at the plant and support field operations as required. * Strong commitment to **HSE, operational quality, and process discipline**. * Good communication and teamwork skills. **Desirable Qualifications** * Experience in cementing plants, workshops, warehouses, or Pressure Pumping services. * Basic knowledge of equipment and materials used in cementing operations. * Experience using internal systems for inventory, work orders, or logistics. * Ability to work in demanding operational environments with critical timelines. **Work in a way that works for you** We recognize that operational work requires flexibility.
