WE ARE LOOKING FOR A **WORKSHOP MANAGER** **MUST HAVE:** Knowledge of diesel mechanics and preventive/corrective maintenance programs; valid driver’s license; flexible availability. **SKILLS:** Analytical, organized, strategic, leadership, personnel management. **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:** Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, with official title and professional license. **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:** * Computer, technological tools, and ODOO software proficiency * SIS CATERPILLAR and INTERNATIONAL manuals; maintenance manuals and part numbers for each brand * Inventory administration and control * Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulic systems, and preventive/corrective maintenance programs; basic measurement systems (multimeters, verniers, micrometers, etc.) * Basic technical English * Personnel management **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum five years of verifiable experience as Workshop Manager, handling mechanical and electronic repairs of heavy and light vehicles. Experience in: \- Developing and implementing preventive/corrective maintenance programs for units. \- Preparing service orders, performance reports, and unit checklists. \- Supporting complex diagnostics. \- Coordinating repair diagnostics and budgeting with staff. \- Managing planned supply of spare parts and tools to the warehouse. \- Delivering completed service orders to Operations Management. \- Preparing maintenance logs for each unit in ODOO. \- Efficiently managing spare parts and consumables inventory used in preventive and corrective maintenance of units. \- Reporting any anomalies detected but not covered in service orders to the Operations Manager. \- Effectively participating in fulfilling the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements for assigned processes. \- Assigning work orders with specific timeframes to technical staff. \- Prioritizing activities based on equipment criticality. \- Coordinating and supervising repair timelines. \- Supervising mechanics’ and technicians’ work. \- Verifying repair quality. \- Ensuring compliance with procedures, manuals, annexes, etc. \- Conducting functional tests and validating equipment release. \- Managing spare parts, tools, and consumables. \- Controlling spare parts inventory in the workshop. \- Authorizing material usage in the workshop. \- Coordinating with the warehouse for delivery of consumables. \- Supporting complex diagnostics. \- Validating technical solutions. \- Resolving critical failures. \- Validating maintenance records. \- Generating performance reports. \- Maintaining historical records of equipment and machinery maintenance and associated costs. \- Filtering unit-specific costs in ODOO to generate reports. \- Verifying safe working conditions. \- Implementing corrective actions. \- Coordinating team activities. \- Evaluating staff performance. \- Analyzing recurring failures and implementing solutions. \- Optimizing time and cost. \- Tracking spare parts procurement. \- Reviewing workers’ daily reports. \- Maintaining absolute order and cleanliness within workshop facilities. \- Conducting periodic inspections of ongoing and completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. \- Preparing and submitting weekly service order reports, presenting results and effectiveness of completed work. \- Coordinating with Security for vehicle and material dispatch. \- Preparing dispatch slips. \- Daily activity progress report per unit. \- Supervising hour-meter readings. \- Authorizing and justifying overtime and supervising overtime activities. \- Assigning company-owned vehicles for proper execution of field activities. \- Coordinating with the Accounting Department for fuel consumption allocation. \- Monitoring fuel consumption. \- Assessing current condition of machinery and equipment. \- Proposing improvements for machinery, equipment, and workplace facilities. \- Providing technical training. \- Giving feedback to staff. **WE OFFER** * Competitive salary. * All statutory benefits.
