Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to optimize operations **Job Summary** The Field Specialist IV – MPD (Managed Pressure Drilling) is responsible for executing and supervising Managed Pressure Drilling operations, ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with the company's technical and quality standards. Provides field technical support, participates in the installation, operation, and maintenance of MPD equipment, and collaborates closely with the client and multidisciplinary teams to optimize operational performance. **Responsibilities** Execute and supervise Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations in accordance with operating procedures and safety standards. Operate key MPD equipment, including Rotating Control Devices (RCDs) and automatic and semi-automatic chokes. Perform installation, testing, and preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment. Monitor and verify operational parameters such as pressure, flow rate, density, and temperature to ensure wellbore control. Provide technical support and contribute to real-time decision-making during operations. Interpret hydraulic models and use MPD simulation software to optimize operational performance. Ensure compliance with HSE policies and participate in safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and toolbox talks. Prepare technical and operational reports, ensuring accurate documentation of activities. Coordinate with the client and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and efficiency of operations. Provide technical guidance to junior-level specialists when required. **Pre\-requisites** * Education: Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent); a technical certificate from a recognized institution is preferred. * Experience: 4–6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in similar roles such as Field Specialist, with proven experience in MPD operations. * Languages: Intermediate English (preferred). * Competencies: Critical thinking, problem-solving, customer orientation, time management, organization, decision-making aligned with policies and procedures, quality control analysis, and ability to work in demanding operational environments. * Technical Knowledge: * Operation of RCDs and automatic and semi-automatic chokes. * Equipment maintenance and verification of operational parameters. * Technical support for MPD operations. * Knowledge of hydraulic models and MPD simulation software. * Fundamentals of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics and/or hydraulics, as well as basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computing.
