Job Summary: Support store operations, including sales, merchandise organization, customer service, and cash handling to meet performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in meeting operational and commercial performance indicators 2. Organize merchandise and implement planograms 3. Provide excellent customer service and cash handling Provide floor-level operational support in stores by adhering to established AutoZone operational processes related to sales, merchandise organization, and customer service, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store operational and commercial performance indicators. * Organize merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable merchandise placement guidelines. * Implement correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities to ensure accurate merchandise placement and store presentation. * Handle customer interactions by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product information (type, function, price), to deliver excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures; also handle customer phone calls for clarification on specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions—including cash and card payments—and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience is preferred.
