Description

Position Summary: This multifaceted role involves patient care, sample collection and processing, laboratory equipment handling, and information management, ensuring continuous departmental support. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive patient care and laboratory sample management. 2. Equipment handling and calibration, including daily and monthly maintenance. 3. Participation in training sessions and departmental meetings. Attend to external and internal patients Collect, identify, and distribute samples Collect internal samples and home-based samples Process samples across various processing areas Record and report obtained results Answer telephone calls Manage control and calibration of assigned equipment Generate statistics for the area corresponding to the position Availability to change shifts when required by departmental needs Fulfill assigned on-call duties as well as holiday coverage Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on assigned equipment Prepare required materials for use Provide information regarding laboratory tests, conditions, and pricing via telephone upon request.
