Oversees the development, support and continued improvement of manufacturing processes and platforms. **Job Requirements** * Managing the planning, documentation, implementation, support and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery and tooling to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality and safety. * Researching on process performance data to identify and implement process changes that improve yield, runtime, quality, safety, and cost\-effectiveness. * Managing the activities and resources for manufacturing engineers, product design, and support personnel. * Providing ongoing support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshooting technically challenging production problems. **What your background should look like** **Primary Responsibilities, Tasks \& Deliverables:** * Product / Process validation \& transfer * Lead initial product qualification activities at the Hermosillo site * Process Implementation/Documentation \- Bulk Cable * Assist all areas of cable manufacturing as required. * Interact with test lab on process/product qualification activities – PFMEA, 8D, FA * Responsible for ensuring development trials and DOEs are completed per TE bulk cable standards and that timelines are followed * Support Tooling Specification \& Design activities. * Support additional manufacturing sites as required. * Support SAFE Activities * Support ISO Activities * Provide Technical support for maintenance activities. **Experience Necessary** * Minimum Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Plastics Engineering * Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a technical / manufacturing organization * Wire \& Cable Manufacturing experience is a plus * Good oral and written communication are a must * English speaking and writing are a must * Good problem solving skills essential * Knowledge of materials, processes, and systems used in the manufacture of wire \& cable a plus * Working Knowledge in SPC/Six Sigma/Lean * Up to 10% International Trave Location: Hermosillo Work mode: Onsite Travel: 10%\-25% \#LI\-ONSITE **Competencies** SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) **Job Locations:** HERMOSILLO SONORA, Sonora 83118 Mexico **Travel Required:** 10% to 25% **Requisition ID:** 142610 **Workplace Type:****External Careers Page:** Engineering \& Technology
