Coordinate compliance with safety and protection programs for facilities, assets, and valuables, as well as identification of risks and vulnerabilities that may cause financial losses and implement preventive measures **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Verify compliance with procedures for safeguarding, collecting cash, and deposits made at the store * Supervise proper execution of processes for damaged goods unsuitable for sale and shipment of by-products to CDI. * Conduct evaluations of existing internal controls at the store and propose improvements to prevent and detect potential fraud, theft, or other losses * Plan actions that help minimize store risks in coordination with the Loss Prevention Staff team based on risk analysis * Identify patterns, based on data collected in the store, that allow identification of security or loss risk areas to design and implement mitigation strategies together with the Loss Prevention Staff team and Store Manager * Serve as an approving witness for all processes involving the integrity, safeguarding, transfer, or alteration of store assets * Define security strategy and establish the scope of loss prevention personnel in priority store areas using available resources such as surveillance camera monitoring * Follow up on specific counting plans in areas susceptible to theft and considered high-value * Comply with the Regulatory Framework on Occupational Safety and Health by implementing the Workplace Safety Program. * Coordinate awareness campaigns and staff training in the store on safety and prevention topics, strengthening the prevention culture within the store * Contribute to internal investigations, evidence collection, and collaboration with the Loss Prevention Staff and relevant authorities in cases of theft and fraud * Ensure regular inspection of emergency equipment, including smoke detection devices, panic buttons, emergency exits, etc. * Ensure the store complies with all safety standards and conditions established by regulatory authorities such as Civil Protection and the Ministry of Labor * Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and security protocols defined by the Loss Prevention Staff, including anti-theft measures, restricted access to confidential areas, access management, alarms, protocols, among others * Effective teamwork and collaboration.
