Job Summary: We are seeking a High- or Medium-Voltage Electrical Lines Design and Calculation Engineer to join our Substations T&D team, participating in preliminary design, route planning, calculation, and preparation of technical documentation. The candidate must have at least four years of experience in the design and calculation of overhead and underground high-voltage lines, and will join Boslan’s Generation and Networks Unit’s Substations T\&D team to perform tasks such as: * Preliminary design and routing of high- or medium-voltage electrical lines. * Design and calculation of overhead and underground high- or medium-voltage electrical lines. * Definition of electrical and structural criteria for overhead and underground lines, including cross-section, thermal, mechanical, and protection calculations. * Preparation of technical documentation: route layout drawings, layouts, calculation reports, environmental and civil impact studies. * Production of required drawings and technical documents for processing grid access and connection applications to transmission and distribution networks. * Engineering review of high- or medium-voltage lines. * Drafting and reviewing technical specifications and tender documents. This position may be performed in a hybrid mode from any of the following locations: Bilbao, Madrid, Zaragoza, Alicante, Castellón. **Minimum Requirements:** * University Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering * At least four years of experience in a similar role. **Minimum Knowledge:** * Minimum of four years’ experience in high-voltage electrical line design and calculation * Familiarity with Spanish electrical regulations. * Advanced user-level proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D. * Proficiency in electrical network calculation software: PLS\-CADD, PLS\-TOWER, IMEDEXA, CYMCAD. * Knowledge of BIM (Revit, Navisworks) * Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software (QGIS/GvSIG) * English language proficiency at B2 level or higher. **Preferred Knowledge:** * Familiarity with high-voltage line design standards and criteria used by Spanish utilities (e.g., ENDESA, IBERDROLA, REE). * International project experience in other EMEA countries. * Proficiency in specialized software for electrical network modeling and simulation (e.g., DigSilent, Cape, ETAP). **Required Competencies:** * High degree of work autonomy, complemented by excellent teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and focus on each. * Proactive attitude, flexibility in dynamic environments, and consistent commitment to learning and continuous improvement. * Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with initiative-taking ability and adherence to deadlines. * Solid technical, critical, and analytical capability, oriented toward efficient problem resolution. * Ability to interpret and analyze results from studies and calculations, applying critical and constructive judgment. **What You’ll Love About Boslan, part of Accenture:** * A compensation package that goes beyond base salary: flexible remuneration tailored to your needs. * Being part of Accenture—one of the industry’s leading companies—and within its most forward-looking business unit: Industry X. * A company where you can grow: a comprehensive training platform available to all employees without exception. * Stability and security: an indefinite-term employment contract and life insurance from day one, plus optional health insurance.
