Flex\-N\-Gate is a continuously growing manufacturing company and a leader in the automotive industry, ranked number 10 among the top 150 suppliers in North America according to "Automotive News". **JOB OBJECTIVES:** Responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on injection machines and auxiliary equipment such as vacuum systems, hoppers, robots, assembly and insertion machines, based on work instructions, to keep machines operational and improve efficiency of operations and processes, avoiding downtime due to equipment failure. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical or professional degree. * Minimum of 2 years of experience with plastic injection machines, preferably Milacron, Jon wai, Engel, and JSW machines. * Knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and reading hydraulic and electrical diagrams. * Knowledge of hydraulic pumps (variable and fixed). * Experience with robots, preferably: Fanuc and Nachi. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance according to established plans and frequencies, as well as update these plans. * Carry out work instructions in the assigned area. * Track downtime related to maintenance issues. * Identify root causes of equipment problems and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence of failures. * Conduct equipment walkthroughs at the beginning of shifts to ensure proper operation. * Record all completed work in logs and report to supervisor. * Report equipment failures for alternate repair arrangements. * Actively participate in activities focused on the development and practice of quality, safety, environmental, and housekeeping systems to contribute to achieving plant objectives, as well as comply with all established company policies. * Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
