**Internal Audit Manager** **Hermosillo, Sonora (residence mandatory)** **Job Description** We are seeking an **Internal Audit Manager** with solid experience in internal control, risk management, and financial regulations, who will contribute to strengthening internal processes and regulatory compliance across the group. This position is critical for assessing operational, financial, and compliance risks, as well as for continuously improving the organization’s internal controls. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and execute the **annual risk-based internal audit plan**. * Evaluate and strengthen the **internal control system** under the COSO framework (I, II, and ERM). * Review critical processes: procurement, payments, sales, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, treasury, and HR. * Identify **inefficiencies, deviations, and potential fraud**, proposing corrective actions. * Prepare **executive reports** with findings, root causes, and recommendations. * Ensure compliance with **tax, labor, and corporate regulations**. * Coordinate and supervise the **internal audit team**. * Support senior management in **strategic decision-making** through objective analysis. **Requirements** * **Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or related field**. * **Minimum 5 years of experience** as Internal Audit Manager. * Proven experience in **people management**. * Solid knowledge of: * NIF / IFRS * Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards * COSO * Income Tax Law (Ley del ISR), VAT Law (Ley del IVA), and Tax Code (Código Fiscal) * General Law of Commercial Companies (Ley General de Sociedades Mercantiles) * Federal Labor Law (Ley Federal del Trabajo) * Advanced **Excel**, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, CONTPAQi or similar), and **Power BI**. * **Current residence in Hermosillo, Sonora**. **Key Competencies** * High level of **critical analysis and logical thinking**. * Clear, objective, and executive communication. * Ability to **negotiate and influence**. * Results-oriented, professional ethics, and confidentiality. **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Job stability. * Professional development within a strong business group. * A professional work environment focused on continuous improvement.
