Advisory services on visual health care OPTOMETRIST COVERS PREGNANCY-RELATED LEAVE Purpose: To provide specialized visual health care to optical store customers by conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and advising on ocular health care. What are we looking for in this position? Graduate in Optometry. License or certification to practice the profession. Continuous updating on advancements in the field of optometry. Knowledge of various types of lenses and treatments for visual impairments. What are the responsibilities? Conduct comprehensive eye examinations. Prescribe corrective lenses according to each customer's needs. Advise customers on caring for their visual health. Collaborate with other optical professionals to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain branch inventory control. Maintain optometric equipment in optimal condition for use.
