In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the installation, maintenance, performance, and reliability of automatic feeding systems at customer sites, directly contributing to their productivity, efficiency, and animal welfare. **What You’ll Do:** You will provide specialized field technical support, ensuring that automatic feeding systems operate optimally and reliably. You will serve as the primary technical contact for our customers, supporting them with installation, calibration, diagnostics, maintenance, and proper use of the technology. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform **on-site installation** of automatic feeders and related equipment according to company standards. * Configure hardware and software according to customer operational requirements. * Conduct post-installation functional testing to ensure proper system performance. * Carry out **preventive maintenance** to maximize reliability and reduce failures. * Diagnose and resolve **mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues**. * Repair or replace components using approved tools and procedures. * Respond promptly to **service calls** and field technical support requests. * Analyze system data, alerts, and logs to identify **root causes** of failures or inefficiencies. * Deliver **technical training** and guidance to customer operations staff on system usage and care. * Serve as the **primary technical contact** during field visits, maintaining a professional and trusted relationship with customers. * Accurately and timely document installations, maintenance activities, and service reports. * Report recurring issues or relevant findings to Engineering and Product teams. * Comply with all applicable **safety, quality, and regulatory protocols**. * Participate in ongoing training to stay current on new products, technologies, and system improvements. **Who We’re Looking For** We seek a candidate with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and customer orientation—someone self-sufficient, capable of working in the field, solving complex problems, and maintaining professional communication with users at all levels. **You’ll Also Need:** **Academic Background:** * Technical or university education; preferably in engineering or related technical fields. **Experience:** * Mechanical and electrical skills for diagnostics and troubleshooting. * Basic knowledge of automation systems, sensors, and control devices. * Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics. * Experience working independently and frequently traveling to customer sites. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with automatic feeding systems, aquaculture, or similar technologies. * Familiarity with data monitoring platforms and diagnostic software. * Comfort working in outdoor, agricultural, or industrial environments. **Key Competencies:** * Problem Solving • Effective Communication • Customer Orientation • Organization • Field Work • HSE Compliance. **What You’ll Receive** As part of Nutreco, you’ll join the SHV family—a long-term focused global group offering multiple professional and technical development opportunities. **Additionally, you’ll receive:** * 12 vacation days. * 75% Vacation Bonus. * Annual Christmas bonus equivalent to 30 days’ salary (distributed in July and December). * Savings Fund contribution of 7\.5% (subject to tax cap). * Life Insurance. * Funeral Expense Insurance. * 10% Grocery Vouchers (subject to tax cap). * Major Medical Expense Insurance for employee and children. * Retirement and/or pension plan. **How and Why to Learn More** We can offer you a purpose-driven career where your contribution directly impacts operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and technological innovation in the aquaculture sector.
