**Position Objective:** Coordinate, supervise, and manage the execution of industrial and mining construction projects, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Manage the planning and bidding phase by generating quantity take-offs, item catalogs, and scope definitions; as well as lead document control, contractor evaluation, and monitoring of physical and financial progress, protecting the organization's interests throughout all project phases. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare executive reports on the project's financial and construction progress. * Monitor construction progress based on estimates and deliverables submitted by contractors. * **Lead the generation of quantity take-offs and work quantities from project drawings for the preparation of bidding documents.** * **Prepare item catalogs (work breakdowns) and define technical scopes for contract bids.** * Analyze unit prices and budgets to evaluate contractors' technical and commercial proposals. * Coordinate and maintain an updated detailed project schedule. * Implement the project communication plan and ensure proper information flow among stakeholders. * Administer and safeguard project documents in an accessible and organized manner. * Evaluate supplier and contractor performance, ensuring quality and contractual compliance. * Participate in project change management and keep documentation up to date. * Control project costs and quality metrics. * Ensure organizational objectives are met during project execution. **Required Profile:** **Education:** * Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field. * **Desirable: training in project management and/or cost estimation.** **Experience:** * Minimum **3 years** in administration and/or control of industrial or mining construction projects. * **Proven experience in preparing bidding documentation: quantity take-offs, item catalogs, and scope definition.** **Technical Skills Required:** * Unit price analysis and budgeting. * **Quantity take-offs and metric calculations.** * **Preparation of bidding packages (item catalogs, scopes, terms).** * Construction estimates and cost control. * Project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and design tools (CivilCAD, AutoCAD). * Document management and communication plans. * SAP and Office tools (**Advanced Excel**). **Languages:** * Intermediate English. **Competencies:** * Organization, analysis, follow-up, and results orientation. * Effective communication, collaboration, and adaptability. * **Strategic thinking and ability to perform financial and technical planning.** * **High attention to detail and negotiation skills.** * **Ability to integrate technical and contractual information.** **Benefits:** Competitive salary.
