Job Description: Negotiates and manages contracts and relationships with vendors. Implements policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized. Works with technical buyers, engineers and management to identify new product needs, identifies new sources in order to meet business requirements. Responsible for quality control of vendor products. A seasoned, experienced professional with complete understating of principals, concepts, practices and standards. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Typically requires a degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
