We are bridging two worlds—moving towards more sustainable energy sources while also helping provide the energy, chemicals and resources that are needed today. **Position Objective:** Provides on-site construction expertise during project construction phases to interpret designs, adjust designs to meet site conditions, oversee construction supervision, and provide final approval of completed construction tasks to ensure construction complies with design specifications. Develop and maintain construction practices for the project. Control and coordinate construction activities to ensure assigned projects are delivered to customer satisfaction and in accordance with safety, quality, schedule and budget parameters. **Key Responsibilities:** * The electrical supervisor reports directly to the Area Construction Manager and works closely with all disciplines of the project team, particularly the electrical discipline. * Manage and coordinate construction discrepancies with contractors to achieve the schedule and deliverables of all construction tasks executed within the agreed scope of work and specifications. * Manage and coordinate activities related to grounding systems, conduit installation, wiring, termination, and equipment assembly. * Manage and coordinate on-site electrical supervisors. * Assist in identifying and quantifying variations in the scope of work. * Inspect and receive client-supplied materials and report on their usage. * Work closely with the project team and contractors to ensure completion of works according to design, specifications and required regulations. * Assist in managing interfaces between contractors to minimize delays in the project schedule. * Ensure contractor compliance with HSE policies and procedures. * Strong problem-solving skills to support project progress, analyze and evaluate engineering discrepancies and propose appropriate solutions. **What will you bring?** **Software, processes and tools:** Experience in industrial projects, IPC/IPCM, grounding systems, conduit installation, wiring, termination, equipment assembly, supervisor coordination, subcontractor management.
