**Job Description**
We are seeking a strategic Buyer with experience in **sheet metal** and **detailed parts** procurement to support a 12\-month aerospace project. The ideal candidate will lead supplier localization efforts, manage inventory reduction initiatives, and coordinate supplier transitions while ensuring alignment with aerospace quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage the end\-to\-end procurement process for sheet metal and detailed machined parts according to program and technical requirements.
* Identify, assess, and localize qualified suppliers in Mexico to meet cost, lead time, and compliance objectives.
* Negotiate supplier agreements and coordinate supplier transition processes, minimizing supply chain risk.
* Collaborate with cross\-functional teams (engineering, quality, logistics) to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing performance of suppliers.
* Implement inventory reduction strategies to improve working capital and optimize lead times.
* Ensure full compliance with applicable aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100\) and customer\-specific requirements.
**Qualifications** **Required Profile:**
* Proven experience in procurement of sheet metal components and detailed parts, ideally within the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry.
* Strong background in supplier localization, negotiation, and inventory optimization.
* Experience managing supplier transitions while ensuring uninterrupted production.
* Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
* Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written).

The Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) is responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle. * Implement quality controls, inspection gauges, fixtures and inspection procedures (QIP) for production shop floor.
* Ensure Quality requirements are being followed as per 102\-123268\-DND “DND General Quality Requirements” spec.
* Identify customer and internal quality requirements and ensure they are in the PRD.
* Approve product drawings as required.
* Submit product final inspection / verification report for customer approval. i.e. PPAP, FIR, CVR.
* Provide support on quality related tasks to other sister plants as required.
