Position Summary: Provides support for in-store operational floor activities, ensuring compliance with sales processes, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Merchandise arrangement and planogram execution 2. Customer service and clarification of product-related inquiries 3. Cashier transactions and return processing Provide support for in-store operational floor activities by adhering to AutoZone’s established operational procedures related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service, collaborating effectively to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable arrangement guidelines. * Execute accurate planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise and participate in opening/closing tasks as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and overall store presentation. * Deliver customer service by clarifying inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing, thereby providing excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; also handle customer phone calls to clarify inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cashier transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in full compliance with AutoZone’s cashier policy to ensure effective payment collection and transaction completion for sales closures. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
