Learn more about our culture here. **Job Description** Responsible for the direct management of all FGI warehousing functions at the organization's Distribution Center facility; This includes responsibility for inventory control, inbound/outbound freight, and operational procedures; as well as compliance with legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures. The Distribution Manager will achieve effective logistics supervision through strong leadership and decision-making skills. **Specific Job Responsibilities:** * Ensure safety standards, policies, and practices are followed across all distribution operations to ensure the safety of all employees. * Planning and management of all operational activities to achieve departmental / company objectives; Inventory control, receiving, picking, shipping, and support activities, * Plan warehouse layout design and space requirements to prevent losses/damages and achieve full warehouse optimization, * Monitor and manage inventory levels at the distribution center; ensure achievement of operational and financial objectives, * Supervise a team of warehouse associates and supervisors; including hiring, delegation, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions. * Perform basic administrative tasks and maintain clear and complete operational records, * Prepare financial projections/forecasts and manage expenses within budgets, * Develop continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices with team members. * Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results and participating in projects as needed. **Qualifications** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Customs or related field **Experience:** * Minimum 10 years of experience in Distribution and at least 5 years supervising personnel. **Languages:** * Advanced English **Other Competencies:** * Familiar with all departments within operations and their interdependence * Direct knowledge of operations work, warehouse management, and transportation management * Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Familiar with WMS systems, * Experience managing third-party logistics providers **Additional Information** **At Fortune Brands Innovations, we support the overall health and wellness of our associates by offering comprehensive, competitive benefits that prioritize all aspects of wellbeing and provide flexibility for our teammates’ unique needs.
