Opportunity for professional growth and development *We are looking for your talent—join our team.* We have an opening for ***CUSTOMS ANALYST*** * **Experience and Education:** * International Trade, International Business, Customs Administration, or related field. * Knowledge and Skills: * Knowledge of the Customs Law and General Rules of Foreign Trade (RGCE) * Tariff classification (TIGIE) * VUCEM management * Preparation and control of the Value Declaration (MVE) * Knowledge of applicable NOMs * Interpretation of Incoterms * Handling of import and export customs declarations (pedimentos) * Documentary control of customs operations * Management of digital files * Coordination with customs agents * Identification of tax risks in foreign trade Main Responsibilities: Operations Planning and Control • Analyze import and export operations prior to execution. • Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and supplier documentation. • Validate technical information required for tariff classification. Regulatory Compliance: • Determine or validate the applicable tariff classification. • Identify non-tariff regulations and restrictions. • Validate compliance with required NOMs or permits. Document Management: • Prepare and validate the Value Declaration (MVE). • Compile and maintain the electronic file for each operation. • Validate documentation required for customs clearance. Coordination with Customs Agency • Provide technical information for customs declaration (pedimento) preparation. • Review the pedimento proforma prior to customs clearance. • Authorize transmission via VUCEM in accordance with internal policies. Risk Control: • Detect inconsistencies in values, classifications, or regulations. • Escalate potential tax or regulatory risks to management. • Participate in internal foreign trade audits. Continuous Improvement: • Propose improvements to import and export processes. • Develop controls to prevent customs errors. • Support procurement and logistics activities.
