Apply for our opening as: Solar Technician **Fixed-Term Contract (1 year)** **Main Objective:** Responsible for the operational performance of the plant. Assignments may include park operation, plant startup and shutdown, procedures and maneuvers for safe equipment intervention, routine preventive and predictive maintenance, plant recordkeeping, records and data sheets, assistance in troubleshooting plant issues, inventory control and parts/spare parts ordering, supervision of contractors and maintenance service providers. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinates and manages all activities required under O\&M agreements for solar plants and equipment warranties. Supervises contractor activities and factory warranty work. Ensures safety training is up to date for both contractors and suppliers * Executes maintenance programs by managing notifications, alerts, and work orders in the SAP PM module. * Supports and coordinates with ROC for park operations and communication with CENACE/CFE. * Reviews, develops, updates, and trains on operation and safety procedures as needed to assist others in plant operations. * Assists Site Leader and Administrative Technician in preparing technical scopes for contracting maintenance services. * Conducts periodic environmental and safety inspections. Documents and corrects discrepancies * Performs documented periodic equipment inspections to assess maintenance needs and improve plant reliability and availability * Participates in the Health and Safety Management System as Champion for various Elements. * Ability to read and write in English, as well as perform basic mathematical calculations * Availability to respond to unforeseen situations outside regular hours * Aptitude in the following areas: figural reasoning, verbal reasoning, mathematics, mechanical comprehension, prudence, and communication skills. Competency demonstrated by successfully completing Operations Qualification Training. * Ability to motivate, direct, and supervise contractors and service providers to effectively operate and maintain the solar plant. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and procedure manuals.
