SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Summary: Supports store operations through sales management, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborates in achieving operational and commercial indicators 2. Arranges and displays merchandise on the sales floor 3. Provides excellent customer service in-store and via telephone Provides support for in-store floor operational activities by executing sales-, merchandise arrangement-, and customer service-related operational processes established by AutoZone, ensuring proper compliance to achieve assigned store’s operational and commercial indicators. * Arranges merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in accordance with applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Executes correct planograms; * Scans merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Performs proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participates in store opening and closing tasks as well as sales floor cleaning activities to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Handles customer inquiries by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in front-counter sales closures; also answers customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Correctly executes cash register transactions involving cash or credit cards, and processes returns in strict compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
