We are a team of talented engineers with industry experience, and we are currently seeking an additional member to join our team. We are currently looking for a ***Procurement and Logistics Manager***. The objective of this position is: *"To ensure the company has the correct materials, products, and services, in the right quantity, at the right place, and at the right time, at the lowest possible total cost, ensuring operational continuity and customer satisfaction."* **Key responsibilities:** **Planning and strategy development for the department:** · Conduct strategic procurement for substation and transmission line equipment. · Develop and monitor the annual plan for the Procurement and Supply department. · Develop and manage processes. · Monthly performance tracking reports and annual reports. · Deliver results. · Expand the supplier network. · Increase the company's credit capacity. · Evaluate and propose to the management team the use of the assigned budget for acquiring main materials, aiming for profitability by achieving a margin 10% below direct costs. · Plan the organizational structure of the Procurement and Supply department. · Manage the proper administration of the material catalog, including descriptions and prices, to ensure efficient workflow. **Operational tasks and control:** · Develop and implement performance indicators for process personnel according to procurement and supply processes, to ensure proper performance and support for Projects. · Supervise the department's procurement and supply operations to ensure compliance with the Project Schedule. · Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with internal clients and suppliers to provide timely responses and solutions to requirements. · Create comparative price tables (historical) to identify market options that help select the most competitive prices. · Control the quality of supplied products to ensure they meet project technical standards and specifications. **Logistics** · Prepare supply schedules. · Negotiate critical product delivery situations with suppliers. · Improve product delivery conditions and lead times. · Manage the supply program. · Review the supply schedule with the Procurement and Supply Coordinator and Warehouse Coordinator based on purchase orders issued, to ensure project activities are completed on time. · Plan arrival times of key materials at site to meet Project Work Schedules as per project planning. · Maintain constant communication with suppliers to ensure deliveries comply with agreed timelines. · Renegotiate commercial terms with suppliers (purchase order settlements) to maintain a good credit history. **Required knowledge:** · At least 4 years of experience in procurement of supplies for electrical substations. · At least 3 years of experience managing personnel. · Advanced Excel skills. · Office software proficiency. · Intermediate to advanced Odoo knowledge. **Requirements:** · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. · This position is based in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. · Must be available to travel, as the role requires visiting suppliers and clients. **We are looking for someone who meets these core attributes:** Teamwork: Unconditional bond of trust, responsibility, and respect to achieve our goals.
