**Vehicle Maintenance Control Supervisor** **Sector:** Transportation **Position Type:** Full-time **Schedule:** **Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM** **Salary:** **$14,000 – $15,000 MXN monthly** **Willingness to Travel:** **Yes** **Job Description** An **industrial, explosives, and transportation sector** company is seeking a **Vehicle Maintenance Control Supervisor**, responsible for ensuring that the **gasoline and diesel vehicle fleet** remains in optimal mechanical, operational, and safety condition, complying with preventive and corrective maintenance programs. **Job Objective** To guarantee that all transportation units operate **safely, efficiently, and continuously**, through proper **planning, supervision, and control of maintenance**, thereby reducing failures, downtime, and unnecessary costs. **Key Responsibilities** **Maintenance Control and Scheduling** * **Scheduling of preventive maintenance** * Control and tracking of **corrective maintenance** * Verification that **vehicle inspections are carried out correctly** * Supervision of the mechanical condition of units * Maintenance history control per unit **Technical Supervision and Workshops** * Visits and follow-up at **mechanical workshops** * Validation of diagnoses and repairs * Evaluation of quality of work performed * Coordination with maintenance providers * Identification of recurring failures **Administrative Maintenance Control** * **Review of workshop and parts invoices** * Control of **maintenance costs** * Validation of parts used * Unit status reports * Coordination with the administrative department **Safety and Operations** * Ensuring units meet **safety conditions** * Coordination with operators and drivers * Support in compliance with internal and operational standards * Willingness to travel when operations require it **Requirements and Skills** * Solid knowledge of **gasoline and diesel mechanics** * Minimum experience of **2 to 4 years** in fleet or heavy-duty transportation maintenance * Ability to assess mechanical diagnoses * Experience working with external workshops * Organization and control skills * Responsibility and technical judgment * Willingness to travel **We Offer** * Competitive salary * Job stability * Professional growth * Work in a structured industrial environment * Direct involvement in company operations **Note** A key operational–technical position essential for operational continuity and transportation safety.
