Therefore, we invite you to participate in the selection process for the position of: MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTROL CHEMIST Job Objective: To reliably, consistently, accurately, and safely perform all activities conducted in the microbiology laboratory, enabling proper assessment of the quality of manufactured products. Work Location: Tizayuca, Hidalgo. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry (QFB), Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (QBP), Industrial Biotechnology (IBQ), Biotechnology (IBT), etc.; professional title and license are mandatory. Minimum 1 year of experience. Knowledge of microbiological analysis, quality management systems, physical-chemical analysis laboratories, and regulatory standards (NOM 059, 072, 073, LGS, etc.). Key Competencies: teamwork, negotiation skills, communication, and adherence to regulations. Job Responsibilities: a) Perform all activities in strict compliance with Good Microbiology Laboratory Practices. b) Carry out all required microbiological controls (preparation of culture media and solutions, growth promotion testing, strain repository management, temperature control, biological indicators, etc.). c) Conduct microbiological control analyses (e.g., microbial limits testing, assay, etc.) on all samples of in-process products, finished products, purified water, and sanitizers. d) Perform environmental monitoring of areas, as well as microbiological monitoring of equipment, compressed air, water, and personnel, according to established programs. e) Conduct microbiological analyses for stability studies and hold-time evaluations of products manufactured at the plant, in accordance with requested or established programs.
