Promotes continuous improvement and regulatory compliance **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Food Science, Safety and Hygiene, or related field. **Experience:** * 2–4 years of experience in hygiene, food safety, food safety assurance, or quality audits. * Retail or food industry experience preferred. **Knowledge and Skills:** * Hygiene and safety regulations (applicable NOMs, COFEPRIS, ISO, HACCP). * Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and hygienic food handling. * Cleaning and disinfection processes in food preparation, display, and storage areas. * Development and monitoring of hygiene plans. * Training of operational staff. * Management of reports, logs, and photographic evidence. * Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and supervise compliance with hygiene and cleaning programs across all supermarket areas. * Verify proper hygienic handling of food, ensuring compliance with sanitary regulations. * Conduct internal audits and prepare the unit for external inspections (COFEPRIS or other authorities). * Train and raise awareness among staff regarding hygiene, food safety, and safety practices. * Supervise cleaning and pest control service providers. * Prepare periodic reports on findings, corrective actions, and preventive actions. * Ensure appropriate use of chemical supplies and cleaning equipment. **Personal Competencies:** * Attention to detail and adherence to standards. * Leadership and supervisory capability. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels. * Organization, discipline, and sense of responsibility. * Orientation toward continuous improvement.
