Opportunity to work on construction projects nationwide **A national construction-sector company, specializing in the execution and control of construction projects nationwide, is seeking:** **Construction Cost and Budget Analyst** **Job Objective:** Ensure control, analysis, and updating of assigned construction costs and budgets by quantifying materials, reviewing volumes, analyzing variances, reconciling with suppliers and subcontractors, monitoring financial performance, and conducting on-site reviews—thereby guaranteeing accurate information for decision-making and contributing to operational efficiency across projects. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of cost engineering as well as collaborative work across departments to integrate technical, operational, and financial information. **Job Offer:** **Monthly Salary: $20,000\.00 net per month \+ Statutory Benefits.** Contract Type: Project-based. Work Modality: On-site. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Available Locations: Tepatlaxco de Hidalgo, Puebla. **Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction cost and budget control. Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD and Neodata. Advanced Excel skills and expertise in specialized construction cost and budgeting software. Mandatory availability to conduct on-site construction reviews. Ability to work under pressure, with a results-oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. Experience integrating and reviewing information across different project departments. **Desirable Knowledge:** Full cost engineering: budgeting, matrices, bill-of-materials breakdowns, quantity take-offs, site review, and interaction with site supervisors. Calculation of direct and indirect costs. Control of construction volumes. Financial and budgetary analysis applied to construction. Review of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Monitoring of physical and financial progress. Knowledge of construction techniques and systems to address gaps or inconsistencies present in the project. Calculation of hourly costs for rented machinery and company-owned machinery. Teamwork with operational departments, site supervisors, procurement, administration, and management to effectively exchange information. Proficiency with tools such as Project, Excel, AutoCAD, Neodata, and related platforms. **Main Responsibilities:** Supervise and ensure that construction costs remain within the assigned budget. Perform material quantity take-offs for various assigned projects and locations. Visit construction sites to review variances, progress, and actual execution conditions. Monitor volume control for executed work on each project. Periodically update budgets as cost adjustments or project changes arise. Validate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with approved budgets. Prepare financial and administrative reports on costs and construction progress. Monitor direct and indirect costs to identify risks and optimization opportunities. Analyze variances between budgeted and executed amounts, proposing corrective actions.
